Banshee's tasting room feels like going over to your cool, artsy friend's house. The decor is eclectic with mid-century modern furnishings, a record player and comfy leather chairs. Basically it’s everything I want my home to be, ha! That feeling continues during their tastings, with their fun, friendly employees who will pull up a chair and chat wine, music and more.
They are best known for their delicious Pinot Noir, but don’t skip their Rosé if it’s in season and their surprising Sonoma Coast Chardonnays. Truly all of their wines are great and easy to drink. We enjoy trying through all of the wines they’re currently serving, it’s always a great mix of styles. Usually they’ll have different vintages of the same wine open and they’ll do a side-by-side to really let you taste the subtle differences.
Banshee is a tasting room in downtown Healdsburg, so it's a great option if you're staying in the area or are trying to hit a bunch of wineries without driving. We also love spots like Banshee when it’s really hot out, hello AC!, and as a stop at the end of the day. They’re even open later as a wine lounge, when you can enjoy small bites and wine by the glass.
