Preston Farm and Winery
Preston reminds you what wineries really are at their core. Farms! On their property, they grow grape vines, trees, herbs, produce.. anything you can think of really! Their true rural setting is refreshing after seeing a lot of fancy, elegant tasting rooms. Not to say their tasting room is out in a field, it’s a nice indoor space, but step outside and your back on the farm with the cats!
Preston has a small farm shop where you can pick up seasonal produce, as well as a good offering of local meats, cheeses and olive oils. A savior if you’re running low on picnic supplies! Preston is another place where you can really wander the grounds to see their fields, or find a cute little tucked away table.
Their tasting is super flexible - you can pick any 5 of the wines they're currently offering so you can really choose wine based on your personal preference. While you're doing a tasting - make sure to flip over the wine menu and check out the map of the fields. I love seeing all of the produce they're currently growing.
If you're a local, head out on a weekday with a growler to fill or make a reservation for their bocce ball court!
Tasting Fee: $10
Hot Tips: Reservations Required for groups of 8 or more. Tasting fee refunded with any bottle purchase. Restock on picnicking supplies or stock your pantry with their local cheese, wine, meat and fresh produce!
